2020-2021 Season Update

Dear Friends,

We have important news about our 2020-2021 Season. When we made the difficult decision last spring to cancel J.S Bach’s St. John Passion (our last concert of the 2019-2020 Season) due to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, our Artistic Director Dr. Garcia-Novelli and the Artistic Committee optimistically continued planning for our 2020-2021 Season. We re-scheduled the Bach concert for this October and looked forward to once again presenting a full season of exciting and inspiring choral performances.

Sadly, due to the ongoing COVID-19 constraints, we realized that we cannot guarantee the implementation of the recommended safety protocols and social distancing requirements for both our singers and our audience members. And so, in an effort to keep the focus on everyone’s health and well-being, it is with sadness that we announce our decision to cancel the first half of our 2020-2021 season as well.

We continue to explore alternative programming options. You can Like and Follow our Facebook page and/or visit our website for periodic updates. Consider signing up for our mailing list to receive email communications from us. Please know we are strongly committed to our St. John’s Passion project and fully intend to make it happen as soon as it is feasible.

On behalf of the MSM Singers, our Artistic Director, Dr. Eduardo Garcia-Novelli and the MSM Board, I thank you for your past support. With your continued support, we confidently look forward to once again performing outstanding music for all of our patrons and fans.

With much appreciation,

Janet Bashirian, Board President
